Super Visa

Against the backdrop of almost stagnant parent sponsorship immigration, the Canadian government has introduced the Super Visa, which can be valid for up to 10 years and allows for 2 years of residence per entry. Parents or grandparents of Canadian citizens or permanent residents can apply.

Must be a parent or grandparent of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

The inviting party must meet the minimum income criteria for Canada.

Provide a paper trail to prove that the inviting party will give financial help.

Have Canadian health insurance that is valid for at least one year.

Have an immigration medical exam.
