It is a type of Canada temporary resident visitor visa, mainly used to visit friends and relatives in Canada, if there is no special mark, the visitor visa can default to a six-month period of stay upon landing. If the period of stay expires, the applicant can apply for an extension in Canada, i.e. apply for a Visitor Record. In addition to meeting the basic requirements for a temporary visitor visa and providing the documents required for a visitor visa, the applicant must also demonstrate a Strong-Tie with his or her original place of residence in order to convince the visa officer that the applicant will not violate the law by staying in Canada when the visit expires and will definitely leave on schedule. The visa officer must be convinced that the applicant is not in Canada illegally and will leave as scheduled. For elderly parents and grandparents who have submitted a family reunification sponsorship, or who have no intention of immigrating to Canada, it is possible to apply for a multiple-entry visa valid for up to five years.
