Client's basic situation:

After graduating from university, she was denied a work permit for 3 semesters.

Through many efforts, the appeal was successful and the client was granted a 3-year work visa PGWP.

Timeline:

In December 2014, our client graduated from university

In January 2015, our client got the graduation letter

On March 6th, 2015, our client applied for a PGWP (within 3 months of graduation)

On May 13, 2015, the guest received the rejection letter from CIC. The PGWP was rejected because CIC considered that the guest did not study full time and did not meet the requirements.

May 14, 2015, the guest contacted CIC, CIC refused to reiterate that the guest had graduated more than 90 days ago, and the application was no longer accepted

On May 16, 2015, HelpTeam contacted the case for the first time and accepted the assignment

On May 28th, 2015, after several contacts with CIC, HelpTeam reorganized the information with the client, checked the gaps, and produced various documents to appeal to CIC.

On December 3, 2015, HelpTeam's appeal was successful and the client received a 3-year graduate work permit PGWP valid until December 3, 2018.
